Do I Need a Continence Assessment?
- If you are concerned about leaving the house
- If you leak when sneezing, laughing or coughing
- If you don't make it to the toilet in time
- If you have ongoing pain, stinging or burning when going to the toilet
- If you get up more than twice to go to the toilet at night
- If something 'down there' just doesn't feel right
- If you use a continence product that leaks
- If you have bowel leakage
- If you open your bowels more than 3 times a day or less than 3 times per week
- If you have a catheter
- If you have a stoma bag
- If you have an ileal conduit
- Or any other assistive technology
- If your child isn't toilet trained yet and you think they should be
- If your child displays unusual toileting behaviours
- If your child cannot wipe their bottom
- If your child has developmental delays due to disability
- Your child will benefit from a continence assessment
